| Updated version of the popular Firemaster controller designed specifically for ceramics. Gives continuous temperature display, ten user-adjustable programs and five fixed programs which can be run at the touch of a button.

Features include a delay-on timer, two fully adjustable ramps and a timed soak facility for each program. Programs can be simply linked together to produce complex multi-ramp programs if required. Firing and cooling rates can be controlled. Additional features include automatic shut down in event of a thermocouple fault or if the kiln is prevented from reaching temperature by an element failure. The instrument also advises how much electricity was used on the last firing and other useful information.
Above all, the Firemaster has been designed to be easy to use. This is assisted by a firing graph and various LED’s which indicate not only what is required but also the program stage and temperature throughout the firing.

8161-1 Bentrup Controller
A state-of-the-art controller which has the ability to store 9 programs, each with two ramps and adjustable soak time followed by an adjustable cooling ramp. In addition it has six fixed programs as follows:
Program 4 150°C
Program 5 800°C
Program 6 900°C
Program 7 1050°C
Program 8 1180°C
Program 9 1250°C
Additional features include the ability to interrogate the instrument to see how many units of electricity have been used on a firing and also how many firings have been done. Also senses when element failure, power supply interruption, thermocouple failure, etc. has occurred and gives a coded signal to indicate which.
