Alan Foxley
Usually most of his work is of a fairly large scale and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. Ideas are pursued through this very versatile medium from studies of the human form, Egyptian amulets, boats, stone-age axe heads, armour and the effect that time and weathering has upon the surface of all manner of objects both natural and man-made. He enjoys both the visual and tactile quality of clay, reading the surface with his fingers as well as his eyes and encourages others to do the same by a hands-on approach.
