Two large works made for the 2016 solo show Rara Avis: On the left is Lop-Eared Woman, painted in black Velvet slip, 70 x 24 x x 18 cms and on the right is Statue, painted in vitreous slips, 99 x 25 x 24 cms. Constructed from Y Material 156-2161 and treated with slips. I find the Y material excellent for these larger works.
