BEAKERS - personal favourites from the gas reduction firing at Kiln Cambridge. Towards the end of the 12-hour firing at a temperature approaching 1,270°C, the reducing atmosphere inside the kiln transforms the iron in the clay, glaze or applied oxides to produce these wonderful fluid surfaces.
